About Richie

What is your background? Schooling, publications, etc.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Production Management at City Tech. I'm skilled in both Photoshop and Illustrator. Lately, I've taken an interest in video production.

How did video production become something you wanted to pursue?
Ever since I was younger, people have told me that I should become a comedian. Being an introvert who was wary of performing live, I produced some YouTube videos to express myself. Since then I've taken a liking to it.

Who are your comedic influences?
I love Louis CK, Eddie Murphy and Kevin Hart.

Who do you feel most closely embodies you? Who is your favorite?
I relate to Louis. He unapologetically speaks truth on things that go on in one's life. He's the kind of asshole I admire.

What excites you the most about being in RGS?
The fact that it feels like an open platform to do whatever we want. Whether it's drawing, manipulating images or filming. It's a playground where we can experiment and where people enjoy our work.

What influences you most to create new work?
I listen to a lot of random music -- for a while, Kid Cudi's music gave me inspiration. Whatever music comes on sends my imagination running and I come up with a story or idea.
